United Kingdom, March 13 -- New Kids on the Block singer Joey McIntyre has celebrated two years of sobriety.

The 53-year-old singer - who has three children with wife Barrett Williams - admitted his life isn't "perfect" not but it is "better" than it was before as he urged people considering giving up alcohol to give it a try because quitting booze doesn't mean there is no more "fun" anymore.

He said in a video posted on Instagram on Wednesday (11.03.26): "Hey everybody. Two years sober today. Two years sober.

"When I say sober, I'd say it's been two years since I had a Manhattan on the rocks, or a vodka soda.

"Can you believe it? Two years. It's possible, folks.
