United Kingdom, Aug. 11 -- Jesy Nelson is celebrating after her twin daughters successfully had their feeding tubes removed from their faces.

The former Little Mix star took to her Instagram page to tell fans she was "terrified" about 14-month-old Ocean and Story having the procedure to remove their Nasogastric (NG) tubes.

The tubes are often used in the case of muscle weakness, if the subject finds swallowing difficult or unsafe, and particularly in the case of the genetic condition Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 - which Jesy's twin daughters both have.

Before the operation, she wrote on Instagram: "Today is the last day of my baby girls having [their] NG tubes on their faces.
