United Kingdom, Sept. 4 -- Jennifer Aniston has paid tribute to Dolly Parton by encouraging her fans to "chase your dreams and go catch some rainbows".

The Friends actress appeared at The 92nd Street Y in New York City this week to promote her boyfriend Jim Curtis' new book, The Book of Possibility, and she told fans how she is "post-Parton" following the iconic star's death last month, aged 80.

When asked by an audience member about the "best advice" she could give, Jennifer was inspired by a "dear friend of all of ours, Miss Dolly Parton".

She added: "It's real. We're all in post-Parton, aren't we?
