United Kingdom, Oct. 19 -- Jason Sudeikis says Ted Lasso has saved him from "some form of self-harm" over the years.

The 50-year-old star, who has created and starred in four seasons of Apple TV's hit soccer comedy, revealed he has felt something he hadn't since his "confusing teenage years".

During Talk Easy With Sam Fragoso, Jason was asked what Ted Lasso has saved him from, and replied: "Some form of self-harm. Flat out."

Of the emotions he started feeling again for the first time since his teens, he added: "That's probably the rawest, most, maybe embarrassing, but I don't think it's embarrassing.

"It does bubble up shame in me to think like, 'How dare you? How dare you have those kinds of thoughts,' you know?"
