United Kingdom, Aug. 10 -- Jared Padalecki has apologised for sending well wishes to Perez Hilton.

The 48-year-old gossip blogger was in a "serious but stable" condition in hospital last weekend after appearing to self-harm in a disturbing TikTok livestream.

Following the incident, the Supernatural star, 44 - who has been open about his own mental health struggles in the past - reached out to Hilton with a compassionate message.

However, he has since deleted the post after some fans pointed out Hilton hasn't always "been kind" about Padalecki over the years.

The actor then wrote on X: "I didn't know. It's been brought to my attention. I'm sorry"
