United Kingdom, May 19 -- William Daniels and Bonnie Bartlett have insisted it would have been "abnormal" if they hadn't had affairs with other people during their 75-year marriage.

The Little House on the Prairie actress revealed three years ago that she and the 99-year-old actor had had an "open marriage" earlier in their union, and while she has now insisted her comments were taken to be "more than it was", the 96-year-old star admitted they had an unspoken agreement about their antics when working away from each other.

In a joint interview with the Daily Mail, Bonnie - who wrote about their respective affairs in her 2023 memoir Middle of the Rainbow - said when asked about her open marriage comments: "It's funny, the press will pick...
