United Kingdom, Oct. 27 -- Hilary Duff hopes to "impress" her gay fans with her new music.

The 38-year-old star is getting ready to put out new music, and she doesn't want to disappoint her loyal fans.

Hilary told Variety: "We're getting something really soon. I have been hard at work in the studio with my husband [Matthew Koma] and a few other amazingly talented people.

"[My fans] are going to hear something so soon, like in the blink of an eye."

Hilary hasn't released an album since Breathe In. Breathe Out. in 2015, but she always planned to make another record.

She shared: "I always knew I was going to return to music.

"I needed to feel safe and I needed to have the right people in my corner and be absolutely 100 percent ready. ...
