United Kingdom, May 16 -- Hayden Panettiere is "ready and prepared" for her daughter to follow in her footsteps and date a much-older man in the future.

The 36-year-old actress dated her Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia for almost two years from when she was just 18 and he was 30, and she has insisted there was nothing "creepy" or "inappropriate" about their relationship.

Reflecting on the relationship, Hayden - who has 11-year-old daughter Kaya with former partner Wiladimir Klitschko - told Entertainment Weekly: "That's hard. My daughter's 11, so I'm trying to think of how I would feel.
