United Kingdom, March 11 -- Harvey Weinstein says he has been largely cut off from his old friends and colleagues since his imprisonment.

The disgraced former film producer, 73, who was convicted of sex crimes in California and whose earlier New York convictions were overturned in 2024 before a subsequent conviction in 2025, made the comments in an interview from Rikers Island with The Hollywood Reporter.

Weinstein is currently serving a 16-year prison sentence at the notoriously tough jail in New York, and spoke from custody about how his relationships have changed since the allegations against him became public in 2017.
