United Kingdom, Oct. 2 -- Halle Berry's ex Olivier Martinez has accused her of physically abusing their 12-year-old son.

The 60-year-old Hollywood star's attorney has described the lawsuit as "entirely meritless and deliberately misleading", while a Los Angeles County judge has granted a temporary restraining order against the actress.

As reported by PEOPLE magazine, the judge has ordered a temporary modified visitation, noting that partial custody should be "continued to maintain communication between [Berry] and [Maceo]".

The judge also denied a request for Berry's sobriety to be monitored due to "insufficient information".
