United Kingdom, March 8 -- Ghostbusters star Jennifer Runyon has died at the age of 65.
The actress - who played a nervous student who underwent a psychokinesis experiment in the 1984 comedy-horror film - died on Friday (06.03.26) following a long health battle.
In a statement shared to Jennifer's Facebook page on Sunday (08.03.26), her family penned: "This past Friday night our beloved Jennifer passed away, it was a long and arduous journey that ended with her surrounded by her family.
"She will always be remembered for her love of life and her devotion to her family and friends.
"I know from above she's looking down on all of us with her beautiful smile.
"Rest in peace our Jenn. (sic)"
