United Kingdom, June 28 -- Eva Green was rushed to hospital after being injured while filming Wednesday.

The French actress is making her debut in the third season of the hit Netflix series as Aunt Ophelia but production had to be paused after she suffered a "nasty" injury on set in Dublin, Ireland.

A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "This was really nasty. Eva sustained an injury and was clearly in pain and producers were taking no chances.

"Medics were called and Eva went to hospital. She underwent treatment and is now recovering well."

Production was paused while 45-year-old Eva sought treatment earlier this month, causing changes to the filming schedule.
