United Kingdom, Aug. 10 -- Este Haim believes couples should "always be dating" to keep their relationships fresh.

The 40-year-old singer - who married Chainalysis co-founder-and-CEO Jonathan Levin at a boutique hotel in Ojai, California, on New Year's Eve 2025 - thinks those with partners should constantly be "working toward" creating a "better relationship".

Este - who is bassist and a vocalist of pop-rock trio Haim, which she formed with her younger sisters Danielle, 37, and Alana, 34 - told PEOPLE: "Keep pursuing, even if you're in a relationship.

"You should always be dating. You should always be working toward having a better relationship.

"Relationships are work, and I think people forget about that."
