United Kingdom, April 29 -- Ed Sheeran has spent a month battling a secret health condition.

The Shape of You star has revealed he was struck down with a bout of shingles - a painful condition that causes a nasty rash stemming from a reactivation of the chickenpox virus - but Ed Sheeran has confirmed he's now "on the mend" after several weeks of ill health.

He made the revelation in an update on his Instagram page which he titled "Life Update Dumpington" in which he also revealed he's shaved off his famous red hair and his now sporting a buzz cut. In the message, Ed Sheeran wrote: "Yes I've shaved my hair. I wanted to shave it to signify a fresh start. A lot of new beginnings in my life ATM [at the moment]. I Iove it, thinking of keepin...
