United Kingdom, June 25 -- Dolly Parton surprised fans at her new Tennessean Travel Stop just weeks after cancelling her Las Vegas residency.

The 80-year-old star, who recently opened up about her health struggles as she scrapped her live shows, turned up at the opening day of the truck stop in Cornersville, Tennessee on Wednesday (24.06.26).

As reported by USA Today, Dolly made a cheeky comment about competitor Buc-ee's, as she quipped: "I'm sure some of you want to know why I wanted a truck stop.

"Well, I couldn't leave it to beavers."

It's said the Jolene icon arrived at the Interstate 65 destination early afternoon, and ended the brief ceremony by cutting a ribbon over the door.
