United Kingdom, June 30 -- Daveigh Chase's cause of death has been revealed as AIDS.

The Lilo and Stitch voice actress, who also appeared as Samara in horror classic The Ring, died aged 35 on June 16, and now a Los Angeles medical examiner's report has shed some light on the details surrounding her passing.

According to the report, her cause of death is listed as acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), while a secondary cause is noted as "chronic polysubstance use".

According to the Cleveland Clinic, the latter is defined as "using more than one substance and following a pattern of use that affects your health and quality of life".
