United Kingdom, April 2 -- Courtney Love has begged Dave Grohl to "man up" and stop his fans from "picking on her".

The 61-year-old singer wants the Foo Fighters frontman to "just say we're cool" as she alleged the rock star is "afraid" to "lose his audience" if he publicly supports the widow of his late Nirvana bandmate Kurt Cobain.

Speaking on The Magnificent Others with Billy Corgan podcast, she encouraged Dave to: "Come out with it and just say we're cool."

She added: "Be man enough to man up."

Courtney continued: "It would really behoove me if the straight white males that are your base, if you will, stop picking on me. The millennials in particular. Gen Z is not picking on me anymore."
