United Kingdom, April 20 -- Patrick Muldoon's former co-stars have paid tribute to the star following his sudden death.

The veteran soap actor passed away on Sunday (19.04.26) at the age of 57 after suffering a heart attack and his work colleagues have been left stunned by the news.

Former 7th Heaven star Jeremy London wrote on X: "Wtf is happening?!? I just worked with Patrick."

Dean Cain starred with Patrick in the Dog Who Saved Christmas film series and paid tribute to his friend.

Alongside praying and broken heart emojis, he simply wrote on X: "RIP, my friend."

Child actor Jake Getman lamented the fact the Melrose Place star was "gone too soon".
