United Kingdom, May 28 -- Cindy Crawford has spent 10 years battling a condition which left her with drooping eyelids.

The 60-year-old supermodel has revealed she previously put the issue down to ageing and tiredness but it started to affect her work in front of the camera and she didn't find a solution until two years ago.

She told PEOPLE: "I remember probably 10 years ago after I turned 50 when I would be doing early morning calls, they would be like: 'Are you fine to start at 6am?'

"[I would say] 'I can get up whatever time you want, but my face doesn't wake up until 9am, so just don't plan any close-ups or anything' ... I could see on camera that my eyes just weren't quite as perky as they once were ... [Make-up artists] would have...
