United Kingdom, April 17 -- Christie Brinkley regularly monitors her daughter's Instagram account to catch her for secretly borrowing her clothes.

The 72-year-old star does not let Sailor, 27, raid her closet, but the mini-me - who is following in Christie's modelling footsteps - does it anyway.

Sailor told E! News: "She doesn't let me take anything. I take things no matter what."

Laughing, Christie added: "I'm always looking on her Instagram and going, 'That's where those pants went. Oh, that's where that jacket is.'"

Sailor joked: "Girl's got to do what a girl's got to do."
