United Kingdom, March 27 -- Cheryl Hines has responded publicly to claims by Chelsea Handler she and her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sold her a "toxic" home.

Saying she is "questioning the timing" of the allegations, the actress, 60, addressed the dispute during an appearance on the Tomi Lahren is Fearless, in comments previewed by People ahead of the episode's release.

Cheryl and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sold the property to Chelsea around five years ago.

Chelsea recently revisited the purchase while promoting her High and Mighty comedy tour, speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and on her Dear Chelsea podcast, where she described ongoing issues with the house that delayed her moving in.
