United Kingdom, March 10 -- Cher has prompted speculation about her relationship status after attending her son Chaz Bono's wedding wearing a prominent diamond ring.

The singer and actress, 79, attended the ceremony as Chaz Bono married his partner Shara Blue Mathes, with the wedding taking place at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and drawing extra attention after Cher appeared wearing a large ring and band on her finger while celebrating with family.

Cher has been in a relationship with music executive Alexander 'AE' Edwards, 39, since 2022, and the appearance of the jewellery has led to questions about whether the pair had quietly married or become engaged.
