United Kingdom, July 21 -- Cardi B says people constantly underestimate just how "savvy" she is.

The 33-year-old worked as a stripper before finding fame as a singer, and going on to sell a 100 million records worldwide, and told USA Today in a new interview that she's often sold short.

She mused: "I don't think people know how savvy I am. I think they just see Cardi, and she's loud and she's just [herself], but I'm very into securing my future."

Cardi added that "it's not even about me anymore", but is "about my kids".

The Money star has three children with her ex-husband Offset, and welcomed a baby boy into the world with her NFL player boyfriend Stefon Diggs in November 2025.
