United Kingdom, May 22 -- Brooke Shields has lifted the lid on her romance with John F. Kennedy Jr.

The 60-year-old actress was involved with JFK Jr - the late son of murdered US President John F Kennedy - in the late 1980s after they met on a skiing trip in Aspen, Colorado and she's now confirmed the pair "dated" but the relationship never turned physical.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Brooke explained: "I didn't have a love story, I had a crazy, crazy crush. We dated but I never slept with him so I don't know if that counts ... He was lovely to me."
