United Kingdom, April 24 -- Britney Spears' ex-husband Sam Asghari thinks it's "great" she has checked into rehab.

The 32-year-old model - who split from the pop star just over a year after they married in June 2022 - is pleased for the Toxic hitmaker, after she voluntarily entered a treatment facility five weeks after she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol (DUI) in Ventura, California in early March.

When asked by TMZ what his thoughts are about Britney going to rehab, he said: "I think it's great.

"I think anything that has anything to do with healing and great things . and as long as the person is in charge of that, it's all great."
