United Kingdom, Sept. 1 -- Queen Camilla escaped being groped by a man on a train by whacking him with her shoe, according to a new book.

The 78-year-old royal was reportedly aged "16" or "17" when she was allegedly attacked by a man on a train to Paddington Station in London and she got away by hitting him "in the nuts" with her heel and then reporting the incident to station staff.

The details - which Buckingham Palace has not made an official statement about - are recounted in Power and the Palace, written by Valentine Low, The Times newspaper's former royal editor.
