United Kingdom, Nov. 3 -- Bob Geldof feels "done" with Band Aid.

The Boomtown Rats frontman helped found the Band Aid Charitable Trust - which aims to relieve hunger and poverty in Africa and other parts of the world - in 1984 but he has begun to feel worn down and is keen to take a step back from the charity.

He told The Sunday Times Culture magazine: "I think we are done. I mean, it wears you down. I could depress myself with the latest ten or twelve emails I get every day, detailing the latest horror from Sudan or the latest f***ing massacres in western Tigray [in Ethiopia].
