United Kingdom, Oct. 27 -- Bjorn Andresen has died at the age of 70.

The Swedish actor-and-musician - who was best known for his breakout role in 1971's Death in Venice - passed away on Saturday (25.10.25), Kristen Petri, who co-directed 2021 documentary The Most Beautiful Boy in the World about the star, told the Dagens Nyheter newspaper in his home country.

No details about the cause of Bjorn's death have been made public.

Kristian - who directed The Most Beautiful Boy in the World with Kristina Lindstrom - remembered the star as a "brave person".

He added: "Kristina and I had long talked about wanting to make a full-length film about Bjorn.
