United Kingdom, Sept. 18 -- Benny Blanco has shared the secret to his happy marriage with Selena Gomez.

The 38-year-old music producer tied the knot with the actress/pop star, 34, last year after 18 months of dating and they are preparing to celebrate their first wedding anniversary on September 27 - and Benny has now revealed they get on so well because they are both "very patient people" and don't get angry "very often".

Benny told The Times newspaper: "She's the best person in the world. I get to work with her and then I get to kiss her at the end of the night. That's the best ... We're both very patient people. Neither one of us gets angry very often."
