United Kingdom, Sept. 15 -- Benny Blanco has jokingly denied using "black magic" to get now-wife Selena Gomez to fall for him.

The 38-year-old producer opened up about his relationship with singer-and-actress Selena during an appearance on the Today show on Sunday (13.09.26), as he was asked about the secret behind the pair's picture perfect relationship.

He joked: "I didn't use, like, black magic or anything. I just was nice!"

Benny continued: "It's like understanding your partner and being able to talk about things, and have an open dialogue.

"Yeah, we're in a really good spot, and I'm very fortunate.

"And I think, again, not being a d*** and being nice to people put her in my orbit."
