United Kingdom, April 20 -- Pregnant Aubrey Plaza can't wait to become a first-time mom because parenting has always seemed "so interesting".

The 41-year-old actress is expecting her first child with her partner Chris Abbott and she's now opened up about impending motherhood admitting she's looking forward to seeing what it's "all about".

During an appearance on the SmartLess podcast, she said: "There's a baby inside of me right now. Yes it's true. I know it's shocking isn't it.

"Yes [this is baby number one] . "

The Parks and Recreation star went on to reveal she went to the doctor for an ultrasound scan before recording the podcast and she had to take her dog to the vet on the same day for a similar proceedure.
