United Kingdom, July 25 -- Amanda Seyfried's beloved dog Finn has died.

The Housemaid actress adopted the Australian shepherd while working on HBO series Big Love but the hound has now passed away at the age of 16.

Amanda shared a series of photos of herself and Finn on her Instagram account and her Instagram Story.

She captioned one selfie: "This one's forever and ever."

Her famous friends were quick to offer support.

Olivia Munn shared red heart emojis and wrote: "Fly high, sweet pup."

And Rachel Brosnahan commented: "Big hug hug. They're forever family."

Sarah Paulson posted: "Oh Amanda. I'm sending you so much love [bandaged heart emojis] How lucky you were to have each other (sic)"
