United Kingdom, Oct. 12 -- Amanda Seyfried has revealed she "passed" on a new series because of all the sex scenes.

The 40-year-old star has opened up about how her attitude to intimacy on screen has changed over the years, and she finds the scenes "weirder" as she's got older.

Speaking to Alec Baldwin during a panel at the Hamptons International Film Festival, she said: "I passed on a show where I would have to have sex all the time because of the sex.

"Doesn't matter [who it's with] ... I don't wanna do it. I'm uncomfortable with it. I'm not into it right now.

"Maybe if [the project] came along again [at a later point], maybe I'd be in a different space. But I don't wanna deal with being naked with a stranger."
