United Kingdom, Oct. 10 -- Alex Kingston is in recovery after battling uterine cancer in secret last year.

The former ER star, 62, was diagnosed with the disease in 2024 and subsequently underwent a hysterectomy and radiation therapy and she has now spoken about her health crisis for the first time revealing she had experienced symptoms for a long time but she put it down to her age until she "haemorrhaged" on stage while performing in a play last summer.
