United Kingdom, Sept. 2 -- Alanis Morissette has accused her former tour manager of a "blackmail campaign" to make her sign a 15-year contract.

The Ironic hitmaker is taking legal action against Keren Urinov, accusing her of making "extortionate" threats to falsely implicate her in allegations of airport drug possession and tricking.

As reported by Rolling Stone, the lawsuit - which was filed on Tuesday (01.09.26) in Los Angeles federal court - reads: "Plaintiff Alanis Morissette is the victim of a calculated blackmail campaign orchestrated by a disgruntled former tour manager.

"Morissette will not agree to work with an incompetent blackmailer for the next fifteen years or pay her a ransom under the gun."
