United Kingdom, March 2 -- Nicole Appleton says she and her ex-husband Liam Gallagher have repaired their relationship and are now friends - and she says the Oasis singer has a very close bond with their son Gene.

The All Saints singer and Liam got married in 2008 but split in 2013 after the rock star was unfaithful and fathered a daughter, Gemma, with American journalist Liza Ghorbani. Their divorce was finalised in April 2014.

Nicole, 51, admits the break-up was really tough on her and Gene, who was just 12 when Liam left the family home, but now everyone gets on well, especially Gene with his father, who he accompanied around the world on the Oasis reunion tour last year.
