United Kingdom, Oct. 17 -- Alanis Morissette is "terrified" of her Las Vegas residency.

The 51-year-old singer kicked off her run of shows at Sin City's Caesars Palace on Wednesday (15.10.25), but told the crowd she was suffering from "pure agitation" on stage, despite her vast career experience.

Alanis told the audience: "I have to admit that I'm terrified.

"Even if I look calm and collected on the outside, [it's] pure agitation."

The Ironic hitmaker admitted she has been "hiding" behind her bandmates and even her hair during live performances.
