United Kingdom, June 20 -- Daryl Sabara's father has died.

The Spy Kids actor - who is married to All About That Bass singer Meghan Trainor - took to Instagram to share that his dad, Roland Sabara, who he only met "a couple of times", had passed away.

He posted: "My Dad, Roland Sabara, passed away last night.

"We only saw each other a couple of times, and I will cherish those memories forever. I know he did the best he could, and I know he's in a better place now."

Sabara, 34, and Trainor, 32, have three children together. Their son Riley was born in February 2021 and son Barry arrived in July 2023.

The couple completed their family with the arrival of daughter Mikey Moon via surrogate in January 2026.
