United Kingdom, Oct. 1 -- Ubisoft and Tencent have officially launched Vantage Studios, a new "creative house" tasked with overseeing and advancing the Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six franchises.

The subsidiary consolidates teams across Ubisoft's Montreal, Sherbrooke, Saguenay, Barcelona, Quebec, and Sofia studios - bringing together roughly 2,300 employees under one roof.

Tencent will hold a 25 per cent stake in the new entity, providing financial backing while leaving creative control primarily in Ubisoft's hands.
