United Kingdom, Nov. 3 -- The Simpsons has marked its long-awaited return to Fortnite with a new episode featuring a surprisingly dark couch gag that shocked fans.

The sequence aired during the 795th episode of the animated series, Bad Boys. For Life?, broadcast on Sunday (02.11.25).

In the opening gag, Homer, Marge, Lisa, Maggie and Bart rush into their living room to find several Fortnite characters already seated on their sofa.

As chaos ensues, most of the guests escape - except for Peely, the banana-shaped mascot, who is caught by a laser gun. The next shot shows the family turning him into a giant banana split.
