United Kingdom, Oct. 20 -- A full remake of Resident Evil 0 is reportedly in development at Capcom.

According to a report from MP1st, the horror prequel - originally released in 2002 - is being rebuilt under the codename Project Chamber, a nod to protagonist Rebecca Chambers.

Sources told the outlet that the remake has been quietly in development for years, with motion capture said to have started at some point in 2024.

The project is reportedly being helmed by Beyond Capture Studios, which previously collaborated with Capcom on Resident Evil 4 Remake and Street Fighter 6.
