United Kingdom, Sept. 30 -- A new Lord of the Rings game is reportedly in development.
According to Insider Gaming, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) may invest roughly $100 million into the supposed title.
While the deal is reportedly not yet finalised, sources have said it's "been in the works since last year", and could be made official as soon as next week.
The title is allegedly being developed in part by Embracer Group - which holds the LOTR game rights - and the studio Revenge.
However, both have declined to comment, and Embracer affirmed it does "not comment on rumors or speculation".
