United Kingdom, March 19 -- New Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro has been "blown away" by the potential of the Fortnite crossover.

The new Walt Disney Company chief, who took over from Bob Iger this week, has given an update on the progress being made on the upcoming Fortnite x Disney project.

Speaking during the company's annual shareholder meeting, he teased: "I was blown away by the possibilities."

Details about the collaboration are being kept under wraps, with very little known about the project.

When they originally announced the pairing, Disney said the crossover would be a "new persistent universe" for Disney fans to "play, watch, shop, and engage with" their favourite characters, as well as content from brands like Disney, Pixar, Star...
