United Kingdom, Nov. 10 -- Halo Infinite's active development will end later this month, developer Halo Studios has announced.

The company has said work on its 2021 sci-fi shooter will be sunsetted when Operation: Infinite launches on November 18, 2025 so it can focus on the "multiple titles" it is currently developing, including 2026's Halo: Campaign Evolved.

In a blog post from Halo Studios, the developer wrote: "As we look back on four years of evolution and updates in Halo Infinite, we'd like to thank our community for your steadfast support.

"Without your feedback and enthusiasm, Halo Infinite multiplayer would not be the special place it is today: a robust arena for slaying and playing, with something for every Spartan.
