United Kingdom, May 18 -- Grand Theft Auto VI remains on schedule for release on 19 November 2026, according to Strauss Zelnick, who has dismissed concerns over another possible delay for the highly anticipated title.

The Take-Two Interactive boss addressed the game's timeline during a recent interview discussing the company's future projects and development pressures surrounding Rockstar Games' blockbuster sequel.

Asked about uncertainty surrounding release schedules, Zelnick gave a direct response.

He said: "Right. Well, no. November 19th. I do know. It's been announced.

"I think we're about 18 months behind the original date. Not much more than that."
