United Kingdom, Sept. 18 -- Rockstar Games has confirmed that GTA Online will continue receiving support after the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, ensuring players will still have a way to experience the multiplayer side of the Grand Theft Auto universe.

During a recent shareholders meeting, Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive confirmed that GTA Online will remain active "after GTA 6 release and beyond".

The announcement comes after Rockstar confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch as a single-player experience, meaning there will be no new multiplayer mode available when the game arrives on November 19.
