United Kingdom, Oct. 29 -- Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have officially launched their new free-to-play battle royale, Battlefield: REDSEC.

Available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Battlefield: REDSEC (short for Redacted Sector) drops players into Fort Lyndon - described by EA as the biggest map in Battlefield history - for all-out warfare.

The mode features 100-player matches that blend the large-scale destruction and tactical chaos of Battlefield 6 with familiar battle royale mechanics, including looting, armour upgrades, and missions to unlock powerful vehicles.
