Kenya, Aug. 10 -- Residents of Kisii Town were shocked and alarmed when they saw a man strolling through the busy Nyanchwa Market with a full-sized coffin on his shoulder. He was talking to himself in a mix of Kiswahili and Ekegusii, and his face was dripping with perspiration. Curious bystanders trailed closely behind, filming and yelling in shock at the strange scene.

Witnesses claim that the suspect stole the coffin from a local funeral home early in the morning, but instead of running away, he was later observed muttering unintelligible words as he passed market stalls filled with vegetables and used clothing, apparently oblivious to the growing crowd that was following him and calling for his arrest.

The man seemed to be in some sort of deep trance, according to traders who had left their businesses to witness the spectacle. He ignored repeated inquiries about the coffin's destination and instead circled the market before making his way to the town center, where he was eventually stopped by police.
