Kenya, Aug. 11 -- Yesterday on Sunday, one of the well-known traditional healers from Migori released a woman who had been acting like a dog for years from what was said to be witchcraft and an evil spirit, bringing Kakamega Town's central business district to a complete halt. Videos of the lady sprinting wildly through the crowded streets, making odd noises that shocked vendors and onlookers, have gone viral on social media.
Many in her neighborhood had become accustomed to her high-pitched barking noises, according to witnesses, who said the strange behavior had been occurring for a number of years. A small group of traditional medics showed up before a throng could gather, gently wrapped her in a shawl, and led her to a waiting car. Word had already begun to circulate by mid-afternoon that the woman had attended a purification ceremony that was said to have put an end to years of suffering. To read more click here.
