Kenya, Aug. 26 -- I shudder when I think of my marriage. Years ago, I would have sworn I was the luckiest woman alive if you asked me. Who wouldn't want a man that makes you the envy of all your friends, drives the newest automobiles, brings you shopping in Dubai, and lavishes you with pricey jewellery?Patrick was every girl's fantasy when I first met him. Tall, good-looking, and most importantly, full of weight. I was a cashier in town, making just enough money to cover my rent. He saved my life when he entered it. He purchased me an iPhone, relocated me into a fully equipped flat in Kilimani, and completely transformed my way of life in a matter of months.

From the outside, I appeared to be leading the ideal life. In the back of my mind, though, something never added together. Patrick never mentioned his work. He would smirk and dismiss my questions about how he earned his money by saying, "Just know your husband is a hustler who knows how to make deals." To read more click here.
